Daniel Boyle presents his 2015 production for Max Romeo, Horror Zone. Originally available as a double 12" vinyl release, one disc songs, one disc Dub versions, the full project is now available here as a digital download. Including x4 bonus Dub mixes from the sessions. Daniel utilized all the old effects and recording tools from Lee Perry's famous Black Ark studio, to create the soundscape for this project, along side veteran Black Ark musicians, Robbie Lyn, Glen Da Costa and Vin Gordon. They created a soundscape that truly captures the original Black Ark rhythm section sound. Teaming up with Max Romeo to add vocals to the music Daniel created, added a new dimension with Max's deeply conscious social commentary. To finish the project they teamed up with Tony Wright, to wod famous Album cover artist who was responsible for Max's seminal album 'War Inna Babylon'. The finished project is a labor of love, a true modern analogue production using techniques from yesteryear. This is Horror Zone....
